Purchase College Athletics

Asencio, a member of the women's swim team from 2006 to 2009, still holds multiple school records in the pool. She was named All-Skyline 1^st Team for 200-medley relay (2008-09), All-Skyline 1^st Team for 200-breaststroke (2008-09), All-Skyline 1^st Team for 100-breaststroke (2008-09), All-Skyline 2^nd Team for 100-butterfly (2008-09) and All-Skyline 2^nd Team for 100 and 200-breaststroke (2007-08). She was named the 2009 Purchase College Female Athlete of the Year, served as the team's captain and continued leading the program as an assistant coach after graduating in May of 2009.
