The Purchase College women's basketball team won their third straight in a 57-49 Skyline Conference home victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent Thursday evening.
The Panthers placed four players in double-figures to help gain the early lead they needed.

Jess Lindsay (JR/Rochester, NY) and fellow upperclassmen
Jessica Biggs (SR/Nanuet, NY) netted 12 points each, while breakout first-year player
Linekar St.Hilaire (SO/Wyandanch, NY) and standout transfer
Talia Beaulieu (SR/Waldorf, MD) combined for a total of 21 points.
Both teams struggled offensively, each shooting under 35 percent in the first half with a score of 24-16 Purchase at intermission.
The Dolphins brought the game back to a two-point deficit within minutes of opening of the second half.
Purchase held the slim lead until the final minutes, when they gained an eight-point burst behind some timely shooting and strong performance from the free-throw line.
CMSV's Nicole Oliver had 10 points and a team-high 22 rebounds in the loss, but down the stretch Purchase keyed in on her defensively. St.Hilaire's five steals and Beaulieu's eight rebounds led the Panthers on the defensive end.
Purchase finished the game shooting 34.9 percent from the field (22 of 63), 20 percent from three-point territory (1 of 5) and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line (12 of 18). Meanwhile, the Dolphins hit 38.2 percent from the floor (21 of 55) and 41.2 percent from the charity stripe (7 of 17).
Purchase (12-9 overall) improves to 7-4 in conference action, while College of Mount St. Vincent (6-14) falls to 0-10 in league play.
Purchase returns to the hardwood looking to win its fourth straight on Saturday, hosting the College of New Rochelle for a 1 p.m. home tip-off.
