Behind Garcia (JR/Peekskill, NY), Purchase closed the game on an 11-3 run over the final 1:59 with the junior forward scoring every point, as they earned the comeback victory at Farmingdale State.

Purchase improved to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in Skyline play, while the Rams fell to 5-7, 2-1.
Trailing 14-10 midway through the opening half, FSC guard Christina Merrill connected on a 3-pointer and sophomore forward Aries Adams hit 1 of 2 at the line to tie the game at 14-14.
In the final 5:01 of a low scoring first half, the Rams closed on a 15-5 run and took a 30-22 advantage into the break.
Camille Romero had a team-high 12 points in the half for the hosts, while Garcia had nine points for the Panthers.
Tied 43-43 with 9:11 remaining, Romero hit a 3-pointer and Lushanta Savadel made a pair at the free-throw line in the Rams' next possession to give Farmingdale State a 48-43 lead.
After the Rams regained the lead, 56-55, Garcia scored the final 11 points for Purchase, as the Panthers earned the 66-59 conference win.
Romero had a team-high 22 points, while Merrill added 12 points and eight rebounds for FSC.
The Panthers were led by Garcia's game-high 31 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
