Galloway, NJ (Oct. 6, 2014) – Richard Stockton (8-3-3, 1-1-2 NJAC) posted a 2-0 shutout over visiting Purchase College (5-5-1) on Monday night.

Chimaobi Ikwuagwu scored his first career goal for the Ospreys, who held a 17-10 edge in shots.
 
The Ospreys broke the scoreless game at the 12:58 mark when Ikwuagwu took a pass from Mike DeFeo, maneuvered around a Purchase defender and chipped a shot in for a 1-0 lead and his first collegiate tally.
 
Just under 10 minutes later, Bobby Spracklin took a corner kick that found its way to the front of the Purchase net. A defender inadvertently headed the ball into his own net to give Stockton a 2-0 lead on an own goal.
 
Chris Giraudin posted his third win and second shutout of the season in net for Stockton.

Thomas Ogrodnick (FR/Washingtonville, NY) made four saves for the Panthers in defeat.

Up next, the Panthers will face Sage at home Thursday night.
