Box ScoreAnnandale-on-Hudson, NY (Dec. 3, 2014) – The Purchase College women's basketball team held Bard College scoreless over the last 1:49 of the game to earn a 57-49 non-league victory on Wednesday night.
With the win, Purchase broke a four-game losing streak and advanced their record to 2-4 overall. Bard drops to 2-2 with the loss.

Elizabeth Osowiecki (JR/Franklin Square, NY) and guard
Allison Haugh (SO/New City, NY) each scored 16 points apiece to lead the Panthers to victory. Haugh also tallied a game-high six assists and five steals, while
Jeidar Cole (SR/Bronx, NY) added 14 points and four rebounds in the effort.
A quick 14 points for the Panthers in the first seven minutes of the second half brought a tied first half score of 28 up to a 42-33 Purchase lead.
In the final minutes of play, a pair of free throws by Bard freshman Gabriela Piercy cut Purchase's lead to 51-49, but Purchase rookie
Michelle Rupelli (FR/Staten Island, NY) made six consecutive free throws in the last 24 seconds to put the game away for the Panthers.
Bard had a big rebounding advantage but committed 29 turnovers.
The Raptors got 16 points and 10 rebounds from junior Bianka Bell, and 11 points and 19 rebounds from junior Tytravia Riley.
The Panthers are back at home Saturday Dec. 6 for a non-conference game against Albertus Magnus starting at noon.
