Greenwich, CT (Oct. 7, 2015) – Manhattanville narrowly edged Purchase Wednesday at Tamarack Country Club.

The Valiants defeated the Panthers 320-340.  

"The guys hit good shots, but our hats go off to the Valiants, who had balanced scoring amongst their team members," Purchase head coach James Alfredo said afterward. 

The low medalist was Manhattanville's Chandler Longfellow, who carded a 78. Joseph Troop (SR/Stamford, CT) led the way for the Panthers with an 81.  

"I love the course," Troop said. "I had a few miscues on the greens, but, all in all, I am pleased with the way I played."

Manuel Cervantes, Jr. (SR/Port Chester, NY) was next for the Panthers with a solid 83. Joshua Rose (FR/Massapequa, NY) scored an 85, and Michael Allar (SR/Thornwood, NY) finished the scoring with a 91.

The Panthers travel to the Mount Saint Mary Invitational Friday, which takes place at the Powelton Club in Newburgh.
