POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - The SUNY Purchase golf team hosted its annual golf invitational Monday afternoon, welcoming a trio of Skyline Conference teams to Westchester.

Results

The Panthers finished fourth out of four teams with a final score of 390. Coming in first place was Mount Saint Mary College, as they won in 320 strokes.

Individually, Christian Miesegaes (SR/Staten Island, NY) led all golfers with a 77 on the day, as he tied for first place out of 20 players.

Purchase's next finisher was Alvin Ratanaphan (JR/Syracuse, NY) with an 80, as he placed third overall.

David Hoagland (JR/Middletown, NY) then shot an 85, while Shannon Herlihy (SR/Bayport, NY) rounded out the scoring with a 148.

Up next for the squad is the William Paterson University Preakness Fall Classic on October 15th.
