PURCHASE, N.Y - The SUNY Purchase golf team completed its third contest in two days Thursday afternoon, as it played in an invitational on Wednesday and a tri-match earlier today.

9/30 - Albertus Magnus College Invitational: 4/4

On Wednesday, the Panthers competed in the invitational, placing fourth our of four teams as they finished with a score of 333 (+53).

In first place was Eastern Connecticut State with a final tally of 299 (+19).

Individually, Christian Miesegaes (SR/Staten Island, NY) was the team's top finisher on the day, as he shot a 78 (+8) to finish tied for sixth place.

10/1 - University of Mount Saint Vincent (H2H): 346-419

10/1 - Pratt Institute (H2H): 346-424

On Thursday, the Blue and Orange secured two wins over the likes of Mount Saint Vincent and Pratt, as they played the pair during a tri-match.

Miesegaes was the top golfer for the entire afternoon, as he shot a 79 (+9) to finish first overall.

In second place was David Hoagland (JR/Middletown, NY) with an 82, while Alvin Ratanaphan (JR/Syracuse, NY) placed third at the event.

Gregor Hocknull (JR/Queen Creek, AZ) and Shannon Herlihy (SR/Bayport, NY) rounded out the Panther squad on the day. 

Up next for the squad is the Yeshiva University Invitational on October 7th.
