LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Purchase golf team came in second place at the Manhattanville University Invitational Monday morning, competing at The Links at Union Vale.

Results

The Panthers finished with a final score of 335 on the day. Coming in first place was Mount Saint Mary College, as they concluded the round in 323 strokes.

Individually, Arthur Nelbach (JR/Cornwall, NY) led all golfers with a score of 76. He finished in first place out of 26 individuals. The top finish was the first of his collegiate career too.

Purchase's second finisher was Christian Miesegaes (SR/Staten Island, NY), who tied for third overall with a score of 79.

To round out the scoring, David Hoagland (JR/Middletown, NY) shot an 84, while Isaac Spottek (JR/Binghamton, NY) recorded a 94.

Up next for the squad is the FDU-Florham Invitational on September 22nd.
