WAYNE, N.J. - The SUNY Purchase golf team competed in the William Paterson University Invitational Thursday morning, playing at the Preakness Valley Golf Course.

Results

The Panthers finished ninth out of 13 teams with a final score of 325. Coming in first place was Drew University, which finished the afternoon with a total of 296.

Individually, Arthur Nelbach (JR/Cornwall, NY) led the way for the Blue and Orange with a score of 74. He finished tied for seventh out of 75 golfers.

Purchase's second finisher was David Hoagland (JR/Middletown, NY) with a 78, while Alvin Ratanaphan (JR/Syracuse, NY) shot an 85.

Isaac Spottek (JR/Binghamton, NY) rounded out the team scoring with an 88 on the day.

Up next for the squad is the Manhattanville University Invitational on September 21st.
