Purchase, NY (Dec. 5, 2016) – Former men's soccer standout turned professional actor Myles Clohessy is set to debut in Blue Bloods this Friday night at 10 p.m. eastern time on CBS (Ch. 2).

Clohessy, an all-conference soccer player and a starring member of the team's championship squad in 2014, is following in his father Robert's footsteps. Robert, also a Purchase alum, currently stars on the popular television series.

"I'm very excited," the younger Clohessy said. "And none of it would have been possible without everything I learned at Purchase. I would love for the Purchase community to tune in."  

Purchase head coach James Bruno congratulated Clohessy, adding with a laugh that since it's after his bedtime, he'll be sure to TiVo it.

"It's great news for Myles and his family," Bruno said. "I'm excited to watch it."
