In the second quarter, Jones connected from behind the arc to tie the game at 18 apiece. Minutes later, teammate Shadai Plowden (FR/Yonkers, NY) gave the home team a 22-19 advantage with another three-point shot.

CCNY scored eight unanswered points to take a 27-22 lead with a little over two minutes left in the period, but Jones and Plowden rallied for PC to even the score at 27 as both teams headed to the locker rooms.

Purchase went on a 7-2 run to open the second half, but CCNY rallied with 11 unanswered points to take a 40-34 lead.

The Beavers held that lead through to the final buzzer, securing the non-conference 64-57 victory.
