Purchase, NY (Dec. 8, 2018) – The Purchase College men's and women's swim programs took to the lanes at home this afternoon, hosting Skyline rivals Sarah Lawrence College, USMMA and St. Joseph's College (L.I.).

USMMA finished first overall on both the men's and women's side with team scores of 240 and 430, respectively.

In the men's tri meet, Sarah Lawrence grabbed the runner-up spot with a score of 151, while Purchase finished third with 64 points.

The Gryphons also finished second-overall in the women's quad meet after combining for 326 points. St. Joe's scored second with 212 points, and the Panthers took fourth with 81 points.

A bright spot for Purchase was Harrison McDonald's (Salt Lake City, UT) third place finish in the men's 50-yard freestyle. The standout senior clocked in at 24.24, just 2.13 seconds behind the top finisher, Nolan Monahan, from USMMA.

Today's meet concludes the 2018 portion of Purchase's schedule. The Panthers return to action after the New Year with a non-conference home dual meet against SUNY New Paltz on Jan. 16 at 4 p.m.
