PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's and women's swim teams faced off against Baruch College on Friday night in a competitive dual meet. The Panthers fell to the Bearcats, with the women's team finishing 68-114 and the men's team concluding 56-121.

Women's HighlightsÂ
The Purchase women started strong, winning the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:37.66. The team consisted of Paris Judy (JR/Buffalo, NY), Riley Langford (SO/Queensbury, NY), Isabella Morabito (SR/Norwich, CT), and Jill Creegan (FY/High Falls, NY).
Victor Vyssotski (JR/Tarrytown, NY)Â made significant strides, shaving nearly 15 seconds off his previous best in the 500 freestyle to win with a time of 7:42.46. He also improved in the 1000 freestyle, finishing third with 16:04.57.
Other standout performances came from Judy who claimed victory in the 200 IM with a time of 3:01.11 and Langford who secured third place in both the 200 freestyle (2:47.43) and the 100 freestyle (1:14.51).
Men's HighlightsÂ
On the men's side, Mason Compton (SR/Carmel, NY) placed third in the 100 freestyle, improving his seed time by nearly six seconds with a 1:20.47 finish. Other standout performances included Lukes Vukdedaj, who cut over four seconds from his 50 freestyle, clocking in at 29.84, and
Daniel Maloney (SR/Pelham, NY), who took time off his 200 freestyle, finishing at 2:27.86.
The Blue and Orange will compete next at Brooklyn College on November 15th at 6 p.m.
