PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women's swim team earned its first victory of the season Tuesday night at home. The Panthers swam their way to an 87-69 triumph over non-conference Lehman College.
With the win, Purchase advanced to 1-6 overall. In defeat, Lehman dropped to 2-4 on the season.

The Panthers opened up action with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay.
Paris Judy (SO/Buffalo, NY),
Jaelyn Stevens (FR/Gouverneur, NY),
Chloe McDonald (JR/Highland Falls, NY) and Kale Cahill (SO/Clark, NJ) teamed up for an overall time of 2:13.01.
McDonald went on to collect top finishes in the 100-freestyle (14:43.83) and the 500-freestyle (6:36.19). Her efforts earned the Panthers another 18 points.
Cahill also added 18 points to PC's tally with first-place finishes in the 200-freestyle (2:39.61) and the 100-free (1:07.89).
In the meet-finale,
Victor Vyssotski (SO/Tarrytown, NY), Stevens,
Wren Woodward-Aviles (SO/Bronx, NY) and
Kylee Martin (JR/Wilton, NY) capped the scoring in the 200-free relay with a combined first-place time of 2:22.57.
The Panthers will return home again this Friday for a Skyline Conference tri-meet against Mount Saint Mary College and St. Joseph's University (LI), starting at 6 p.m.
