PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men's and women's tennis teams have earned national recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), receiving both team and individual academic honors for the 2024–25 academic year.
Both squads were named ITA All-Academic Teams, a distinction awarded to programs with a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher. In addition, 14 Panthers earned the prestigious title of ITA Scholar-Athlete, awarded to student-athletes with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Men's ITA Scholar-Athletes
In 2025, the ITA named 1,115 men's Division III student-athletes as Scholar-Athletes and 135 men's programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
On the women's side, 1,269 Division III student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors and 165 women's tennis programs were named All-Academic Teams.
