NEW YORK, N.Y. - Three Purchase College student-athletes earned a Skyline Conference weekly award, it was announced Monday.

Men's Volleyball

Jael Martinez - Player of the Week

Over five games this season, Martinez (JR/Bronx, NY) leads the Panthers in points (58.5), kills (52) and kills per set (2.74). He also has added 26 digs, four blocks (one solo) and four aces.

During a five-set win over Lehman College, Jael recorded a career-high 25 kills. This award is the first of the season for Martinez and the second of his career (Honorable Mention back in 2024).

Danny Kanner - Rookie of the Week

Over five games, Kanner (FY/Smithtown, NY) totaled 125 assists, 30 digs, nine kills, three aces and three block assists. During a win over Lehman, he finished with a career-high 44 assists.

This is the first award of his career.

Joey Toscano - Honorable Mention

Over five games, Toscano (SO/Levittown, NY) compiled 42 digs, 11 assists, an ace and a block assist. He recorded a career-high 19 digs during a five-set win over Lehman.

The award is the first of his career.
