NEW YORK, N.Y. - Five Purchase College student-athletes earned Skyline Conference weekly awards, it was announced Monday.

Softball
Bryce Kane - Player and Rookie of the Week
Over six games last week (4-2), Kane (FY/Westborough, MA) went 11-for-19 with a home run, four doubles, 10 RBIs, four runs, a walk and two stolen bases.
On the mound, she made two starts (1-0), going 8.1 innings. She pitched a five-inning shutout win over Hunter College, allowing just one hit while strikeout six.
The awards were the third and fourth of the season for Kane and seventh of the year for the team.
Men's Tennis
Eli Palagatshev - Honorable Mention
During the lone match of the week, which was a 5-2 win at WestConn, Palagatshev (SR/Yonkers, NY) took his contests with ease.
In No.1 singles he won by the scores of 6-3, 6-2, while in No.1 doubles, he prevailed 6-3.
The award was the third of the season for Palagatshev and the team.
Men's Volleyball
Joey Toscano - Libero of the Week
Over four games last week (3-1 overall, 2-1 Skyline), Toscano (SO/Levittown, NY) finished with 55 digs and eight assists to help lead the Panthers to the No.2 seed in the Skyline Conference Playoffs.
The award was the fifth of the season for Toscano.
Danny Kanner - Honorable Mention
Over four games last week, Kanner (FY/Smithtown, NY) finished with 105 assists, 38 digs, 25 kills, eight aces and five block assists.
The award was the fourth of the season for Kanner.
Hector Ruiz - Honorable Mention
Over four games last week, Ruiz (SO/Bronx, NY) finished with 52 kills over 15 sets, 29 digs, four aces and four block assists.
The award was the second of the season for Ruiz and 13th of the year for the squad.
