PURCHASE, NY – A chilly evening under the lights at the Purchase baseball diamond reunited more than 25 former Panthers for the program's annual Alumni Game.
The Oct. 19 event welcomed back a number of familiar faces, some graduating in recent years ('18, '19) and others from over a decade ago ('09, '10). Despite a valiant effort, the Panther alum fell in defeat, 11-10, to the current PC team.

Adam Taraska was joined by former Purchase head coach Bill Guerrero in leading the annual event, and both were impressed to see the talent the alumni could still bring to the game.
Taraska hopes to see growth in numbers and support from the program's former student-athletes every year, including the upcoming First Pitch Dinner on Saturday, Jan. 25 to kick off the 2020 campaign. The annual fundraiser and social event will take place in the upper lobby of the Purchase Performing Arts Center (PAC), starting at 6 p.m.
