FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Purchase College golf team wrapped up its 2022 season Monday afternoon, completing it's two-day adventure at the Skyline Conference Championship.
The event, which was hosted by Farmingdale State College and played at Bethpage State Park - Red Course, saw the Rams of Farmingdale claim first place with a total score of 589.
For the Panthers, they finished eighth out of eight teams with an overall score of 748.
Individually,
Jack McHugh (SO/Hawthorne, NY) led the way for Purchase with a 178, after shooting 90 on day one and 88 on day two.
With the score, the sophomore placed 31st out of 39 golfers.
Following McHugh was
Steve Mains (SO/Mount Kisco, NY), who finished with an overall score of 181 and placed 32nd.
For the rest of the squad,
Riley Donovan (SR/Billerica, MA) recorded a 188 for the competition, while
Zach Collins (SO/Victor, NY) finished in 201 strokes and
Eduardo Gutierrez Cervantes (JR/Mamaroneck, NY) tallied a final score of 347.
