NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Purchase College golf team participated in the Albertus Magnus College Invitational Tuesday afternoon, opening the 2025 season at the New Haven Country Club.

Results

The Panthers finished fifth out of six teams with a final score of 368. The hosts placed first with a score of 313, while Emmanuel College landed in second with a 323 total.

Individually, Christian Miesegaes (JR/Staten Island, NY) was the top finisher for the Blue and Orange, as he shot an 83.

Steve Mains (5th/Mount Kisco, NY) finished right on his tail with an 87, while Arthur Nelbach IV (SO/Cornwall, NY) totaled a 99 on the day.

Rounding out the contest for the Panthers was Ryan Haberski (FY/Saugerties, NY) with a 99 score and Joey Seacord (FY/Eastchester, NY) with a 108.

Up next for the squad is its own home invitational on September 8th at 12:30 p.m. at the Pound Ridge golf course.
