Louis Carvell were named to the All-Skyline Conference Baseball Team, it was announced Wednesday.
Daly (Babylon, NY) was recognized twice, first as the Rookie of the Year and again with a spot on the All-Second Team at first base.
For the year, he led the Panthers in batting average (.403), hits (58), doubles (11), triples (8), runs (44), stolen bases (28), OPS (1.073) and slugging percentage (.653), while finishing second in home runs (3) and RBIs (29).
Among the Skyline Conference, he ranked third in batting average, tied for second in hits, fourth in runs and third in stolen bases.
During the season, he earned two Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week awards, was named to the Honor Roll three times and claimed the Purchase College Men's Rookie of the Year award earlier this month.
Daly became the first Purchase College baseball player to be named the Skyline Rookie of the Year since Chris Triano back in 2015.Â
Additionally, Carvell (New York, NY) earned praise from the conference, as he claimed a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The All-Sportsmanship Team is comprised of players who are well-respected on their team and throughout the conference, and who show a great deal of respect for the sport and opponents in general.
For the year, Louis finished with a .218 average, 17 hits, 10 RBIs, 10 runs and 10 walks.
Carvell and Daly helped lead the Panthers to one of their best seasons ever, as the squad made it to the Skyline Conference Semifinals and finished with the second-most wins in program history (22).
