KINGS PARK, NY – The Purchase College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the St. Joseph's University-Long Island Invitational on Saturday afternoon, held at Sunken Meadow State Park.
Bobby Royston (JR/Nyack, NY) led the Panthers in the 8K race, finishing 9th overall with a time of 29:30.5. Reece Grieshaber (SO/Somers, NY) crossed the line in 33rd place with a time of 32:17.1. The men's team finished 8th overall and 4th among Skyline Conference teams.
Chloe McDonald (SR/Highland Falls, NY) was the top finisher for the women's team in the 6K race, securing 4th place with a time of 21:39.9, and finishing first among Skyline runners. Victor Vyssotski (JR/Tarrytown, NY) came in 26th overall and 9th among conference competitors with a time of 25:02.8. The women's team finished 11th overall and 4th among Skyline teams.
The Panthers will return to action on November 3rd for the Skyline Conference Championships at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, NY.
