BETHPAGE, NY – The Purchase College cross country teams competed in the Skyline Conference Championship on Saturday morning. Before the meet began, Head Coach Francis Burdett honored his two seniors, Chloe McDonald (Highland Falls, NY) and Lucas Colon (Bronx, NY), with special words commending them on their final championship meet and presented them with some gifts.
Men's Results
Bobby Royston (JR/Nyack, NY) led the Panthers in the 8K, finishing 3rd overall with a time of 27:09.5. Reece Grieshaber (FY/Fairport, NY) crossed the line in 21st place with a time of 29:43.4, while Colon capped his senior year with a strong 31:16.7 finish, placing 37th. The men's team finished 5th overall.
Women's Results
McDonald topped the women's team in the 6K with a 3rd place finish and a time of 25:14.9. Victor Vyssotski (JR/Tarrytown, NY) followed, placing 7th with a time of 27:11. The women's team concluded the day in 7th place.
The Blue and Orange are heading to Milton, NY to compete in the ECAC D3 North Championship on Saturday, November 9th.
