FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Purchase College golf team completed its two-day journey at the Skyline Conference Championship Monday afternoon, which was played on the Bethpage Red Course.

Results

Overall, the Panthers finished seventh out of eight teams, coming in +128 strokes over par.

Taking first was Farmingdale State College, as the hosts recorded a score of +22 and had the top-5 golfers on the weekend. 

Individually, the Blue and Orange were led by Christian Miesegaes (SO/Staten Island, NY) who tied for 21st out of 40 golfers with a score of +27.

Bennett Parli (FY/East Quogue, NY) was the next finisher with +29, while Steve Mains (SR/Mount Kisco, NY) totaled a +36 in the effort.

Rounding out the group of five for the Panthers was Arthur Nelbach (FY/Cornwall, NY) with a +40 and Daniel Knipscher (SR/Vestal, NY) with a +49.

Up next for Purchase is a return to match play, as the squad competes in the Mount Saint Vincent Invitational on October 7th.
