Bronx, NY (Jan. 30, 2014) – The men's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Lehman College Thursday night.
Lehman came from behind at the APEX, yielding a 22-25, 25-20, 29-27, 25-21 win. The Lightning have now won the first two games of the 2014 season.
The Panthers, which also led 1-0 in their opener against Brooklyn on Tuesday, are now 0-2, despite two solid performances to start the spring season.
For the second straight game, Lehman got off to a slow start as the Panthers claimed the first set. The situation seemed grim for the Lightning as they fell behind, 19-16, in the second game. After calling a timeout, the Lightning would respond by scoring nine of the last 10 points to win the set, evening the match at one game apiece.
