Box ScorePurchase, NY (Dec. 6, 2014) - The Purchase women's basketball team fell to Albertus Magnus, 64-49, in a non-conference matchup at home Saturday afternoon.

Purchase (2-5) kept the game close in the opening minutes but struggled to keep up the pace, allowing the score margin to grow in the visitors' favor. Magnus (4-4) moved the ball well throughout the game, creating many offensive drives and scoring opportunities.Â

Allison Haugh (SO/New City, NY) tried to ignite Purchase early in the first half after she intercepted a Falcon pass and was fouled going to the basket. The rookie ace tallied 11 total points, five rebounds and five steals in 40 minutes of action.  Â

Jeidar Cole (SR/Bronx, NY) led the Panthers with 19 points after going 9-12 from the field. Cole also totaled a game-high 12 rebounds. Center
Elizabeth Osowiecki (JR/Franklin Square, NY) followed suit with 17 points, six rebounds and two assists.Â

Magnus totaled an impressive 25 offensive rebounds, while the Panthers had six. Purchase also allowed 23 turnovers, 13 of which were in the first half.Â

The Falcons were led by Chelsea Sherrod, Olivia Bolden, Kelsey Pendergast and Tyler Evans. Sherrod had a team-high 12 rebounds. Bolden followed suit with a game-high 21 points, three assists, three steals and 11 boards, eight of which were on the offensive end. Pendergast had 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. Evans had a solid outing with 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
