Union, NJ (Feb. 15, 2014) – The men's volleyball team fell in both ends of a quad match Saturday at Kean University.

Purchase lost 3-0 to the hosts and also fell short to the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The Panthers are now 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Skyline Conference.

The Cougars held the visitors to a negative (-.085) hitting percentage over the entire match. Kean racked up nine aces in the match, including two on back-to-back serves by Kyle Farley. In the loss to Kean, Kevon Kareem Bruce (SR/Hayes, Jamaica) led the way with 10 kills.

In the quad matchup, Sage fell to 0-7 and 0-3 in the league by the end of the day. CMSV topped both Sage and Purchase to move to 4-2 and 3-0 in the conference. Kean swept the doubleheader to move over the .500 mark.

In the 3-1 defeat to CMSV, Bruce added 13 kills to lead the way, while Kevin Carges (FR/Brockport, NY) contributed eight of his own.
