Albany, NY (Feb. 25, 2015) – The Sage Colleges' men's volleyball hosted the Panthers of Purchase College in a Skyline Conference match at Kahl Gym. Sage beat Purchase 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-17) as the Panthers drop to 4-6 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Outside hitter Kevin Carges (SO/Brockport, NY) led the Panthers with a match-high 11 kills while teammate Andrew Schwab (SO/Merrick, NY) totaled an impressive six digs.
For the Gators, rookie outside hitter Bailey Cecchi racked up eight kills with two digs, while finishing the night with no errors in 13 reception attempts. Freshman setter Tyler Bastos finished with 23 setting assists, while adding four digs and four kills. Freshman middle hitter Ryan Guyton six kills with three aces and four digs. He added three total blocks as well in the action.

Rookie Casey Fitzpatrick (Haverhill, MA/Haverhill) racked up five kills with six digs and two aces, while senior co-captain Thaddeus Sipe added four digs with three total blocks.

Purchase returns to action on Feb. 28 traveling to College of Mount Saint Vincent for a Skyline Conference tri-match.
