PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men's and women's swim teams hosted William Paterson University on Friday night. Despite some impressive performances, Purchase fell to the Pioneers, with the women's team finishing 72-106 and the men's team concluding 48-103.

Women's Highlights

Junior Victor Vyssotski (Tarrytown, NY) made an early mark, taking second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 16:29.08. Paris Judy (JR/Buffalo, NY) followed with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:30.21. Riley Langford (SO/Queensbury, NY) secured third in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing in 3:06.48. The 200-yard freestyle relay team, comprised of Vyssotski, Judy, Langford, and Isabella Morabito (SR/Norwich, CT), took first place with a time of 2:15.74.

Men's Highlights

Mason Compton (SR/Carmel, NY) made an impactful collegiate swim debut, taking third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 32.21. Zach Redlund, also making his debut, clocked a solid 58.58 in the 100-yard freestyle.

The Blue and Orange will be back in action next Friday, hosting Maritime College at 6:00 p.m.
