NEW YORK, N.Y. – Purchase College men's tennis standouts Suleyman Eminov and Eli Palagatshev have been named to the All-Skyline Conference First Team, it was announced Tuesday.
Eminov (SR/Mary, Turkmenistan) delivered a flawless singles season, going 10-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play, primarily at the No. 2 spot. In doubles, he was equally dominant, achieving a 9-1 record at the No. 1 spot.
Palagatshev (JR/Yonkers, NY) excelled at the No. 1 singles position, finishing the season with a 9-2 overall record, including 4-2 in conference matches. In doubles, he partnered with Eminov to achieve a 6-1 record at No. 1 and went 8-1 overall.
Their performances have been instrumental in leading the Panthers to an 8-5 overall record and securing the No. 4 seed in the Skyline Conference Tournament.
