BRONXVILLE, NY – Despite strong individual performances, the Purchase College men's swim team was unable to overcome Sarah Lawrence College and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in a Skyline Conference double dual on Tuesday at the Campbell Sports Center. The Panthers fell 79-50 to the host Gryphons and 114-37 to the Mariners.

Results

Aidan Mauer (FR/Poughkeepsie, NY) took third place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:19.71. Nicholas Switalski (FR/Buffalo, NY) also kept his rookie campaign going strong after clocking in at 6:24.52 in the 500-free—good enough for second-overall.

Up next, Purchase will head to Newburgh, NY for a Skyline quad-meet hosted by Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday.
