BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's and women's swim teams were defeated in a tri-meet Saturday afternoon, as the Panthers fell to Sarah Lawrence College and Baruch College in the matchup.
On the men's side, Purchase lost by the scores of 81-20 and 117-10 to Sarah Lawrence and Baruch respectively. For the women, the Panthers fell by the totals of 110-18 and 98-19.
Individually,
Brienne Westfall (JR/Grand Island, NY) and
Aidan Mauer (JR/Poughkeepsie, NY) provided Purchase's best finishes on the day, as each swimmer placed third in the 200-free.
Later on, the duo of
Mackenzie Gunning (SR/Wantagh, NY) and
Nicholas Switalski (JR/Buffalo, NY) finished fourth in the 50-free to closeout the meet for the Panthers.

click here. With the losses, the men's team fell to 0-4 overall, while the women dropped to 0-5.
Up next for the swim program is its first dual-meet of the year, as the team travels to Lehman College on November 15th at 6 p.m.
