KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Purchase College swim teams were defeated in a Skyline Conference dual meet Wednesday evening, falling to the Mariners of the United States Merchant Marine Academy. 

Scores for the meet were 160-24 for the women and 167-21 for the men. To see the complete results, click here.

Brienne Westfall (JR/Grand Island, NY) led the effort for the Panther women, placing second in the 200-breast and third in the 200-free, while Mackenzie Gunning (SR/Wantagh, NY) collected the silver in the 100-free. 

On the men's side, Aryell Beaulieu-Shaffer (SO/Chatham, NY) finished second in the 100-free and fourth in the 50-free, and Tyler Perpall (SO/Westbury, NY) placed second in the 200-breast. 

With the results, the Purchase College women's team now sits at 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the conference. The men are 1-5 and 0-3, respectively.
