KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Purchase College swim teams were defeated at the United States Merchant Marine Academy Thursday night, dropping a Skyline Conference dual meet.
For the men, they dropped the matchup by the score of 135-49. As for the women, they fell 103-41.Â
Results
While USMMA took first place in each event, the Panthers produced numerous second-place finishes on each side.
In the 200-free,
Daniel Karpf and
Paris Judy finished second for the men and women, respectively, while the 50-free saw
Luke Mallory and
Isabella Morabito each secure second place.
In the women's 200-IM,
Chloe McDonald earned the silver, as
David Whitmer collected the same prize in the 100-back.
Up next for the Blue and Orange is a return to their home pool, as the squad welcomes Bard College on January 17th at 6 p.m.
