ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Purchase College cross country teams closed out their 2025 season at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship on Saturday morning, racing against one of the deepest fields in the region.
On the women's side,
Flora Parker-Myers (FY/Kingston, NY) led the Blue and Orange with a strong regional debut, crossing in 25:49.3 to place 104th overall.
Victor Vyssotski (SR/Tarrytown, NY) followed with 26:59.6, while
Mel Harper (SR/Patchogue, NY, 35:24.5), Ariella Pabon (FY/West Hempstead, NY, 43:01.8), Katherine Lasky (FY/Lancaster, NY, 43:36.6) and senior
Helen Huang (52:07.8) rounded out the lineup.
Alexander Carbo (JR/Hopedale, MA) led the Panthers clocking 30:50.6 on the 8K course. Just steps behind him was Reece Grieshaber (SO/Fairport, NY), who crossed in 30:59.0 to cap his second collegiate season. Oliver Broun (JR/Athens, GA) joined the fray, recording 32:39.4 and Timo Berry (5th year/Albany, NY) rounded out the team, finishing in 37:00.6.
Against a field featuring nationally ranked programs and over 180 competitors, Purchase held their own and closed the fall on a positive note. The teams will return to the course in 2026.
